Effects/Soundtracks-
The effects in this project were many and it showed that in the rendering process or loading of effects for non-editors... I had fades and motion commands everywhere. The most noticable effect is the blue screened fall but there are a lot more. The Speed variations were all over the place. The matrix style spin was done about 3 times. It worked pretty good. As for the extra footage (skys, horses, deer, etc...) was not Adobe bonus footage, it was stuff that I have been filming everytime I see something photographic. That made it a lot more original. |

Editing Advancements-
Editing, major in this movie... Big was blue screen. It was used only once, when our 1st dreamer plunges over the cliff. I was extremely surprized at how that came out. That was very impressive to me. Blue screen has got to be used a little more if something that simple can look that good. All we had Max do was lay on a blue fabric and move his arms and legs. A little motion cammand, and bingo! The color change was the screen fading in and out from black and white to color. It had a nicer effect then I thought. |
Background-
The video for health the captures different emotions, entering you into a dream like senario. With very general aspects of a dream being played out. Such as being chased, running, falling, strange plots and quick changes in settings. In truth some think that this video was the best project A.S.A.P. has made to this point. I think that is has a separate catagory. It's not really something we have made. Besides the Drunk Driving video, no other project has had such a drastic change in character and setting. I think that this video is deffinatly a large turning point but is one in itself and cannot be repeated... The plot of this movie really is only what you make out of it. I know what I think the flowers purpose is but it probably is very different from your's. |
