Effects/Soundtracks- As for effects, I was faced with doing a boring, un-original before and after movie or being creative and confussing... Of coarse I chose to be confussing. What I did is I combined the before and after, so that the video answered its own questions and such and at time, for your first time watching it's kinda confussing, but towards the end you get it. Personally I thought that it made the video great!!! The level of confussion was at the perfect level to get people thinking. As for the crash at the end, it was not as good as the blue screened crash in the seatbelt video where an actually car veers infront and kills them, that one actually looks deadly... This one is a little cheesy as they just go off the road into a ditch... Still looks fine but...not deadly. Then the insodent rewinds to the beginning where the passenger gets in the car, displying the wronge decision. |

Editing Advancements- An advancement, not really, more like a new hatred... I decided, since I reasonatly got Adobe Premiere Pro, I would use that instead of my 6.5 I always use. Figured I would learn how to use it. Well I did and I hated it. It was torcher, watching all the stuff I could do it 6.5 become ? in Pro... So yes, I did learn a new program but... |
Background- This was Toms health video, with the same requierments as the other seatbelt safety vid. This project kindof a sequel to James seatbelt video for me, the same teacher, same class, almost the same topic... I just felt that I needed to beat the seatbelt video, as to improve... I feel I did but through a little confussion... This video was filmed with three people, and Nate would probably have to be the biggest help. He had finally got his licence and could drive and do most of the stunts we wanted. So with that it worked out nice... The only problem in my eyes is that we used some retarded pop bottles with beer written on them. Due to the open container law, beer cans cant be in the truck.... |
