The story was developed during and after the filming of Finding Philup.  Finding Philup was becoming a long movie and could not have an ending without the movie being 3 1/2 hours.  So a sequel was formed.  The sequel would have ended the movie with a lot of action...but as I wrote the movie, I realized that it was way to good a movie and much to good for a start out movie like Finding Philup!!!  The charactor Razvan was the replaced name for R'min A. Sling in Finding Philup, and Scott Deo replaced Jairmy...  Halite follows the sequel of Finding Philup til the discovery of the Sodium Nitrate plan, and the iron factory docs. were subliminal of R'min A. Sling's guards comming to kill Jairmy...  The costumes of the guards are the same as they were going to be in Finding Philup (was going to be called Philup Rebounded)...  The new ideas, like "Niter" came to me when I was looking for a better plot and we began doing salt reaction labs in science.  When I learned that a chemical reaction could cause an unstoppible flame, well that was it!!!!!!!!

Halite is diffinatly a major break through for us!!!  It is the first movie ever finished correctly.  I learned how to use Adobe to its full potential, adding muzzel flashes, explosions, bullet rics., blood, ect...  The song/sound quallity is awesome and the plot is very good.  Halite marks the begginning of A.S.A.P. Films....

Dave Sutton, a.k.a Razvan, has almost completed his objective; now he has only to execute it.  Unfortunately for Razvan, Agent unaware of the larger scheme at play are sent to arrest him.  The agents enter the frantic situation with the understanding that it will be a simple arrest.  This naivite has the unfortunate reality when the agents discover Razvans secret plot.  Soon the agents find their easy take down to be a struggle for their lives...

The movie is base mostly on the substance of Sodium Nitrate also known as Niter.  The mixture ignites in flames when it meets with an oxidizing material...  In this movies case, the material is Iron.  The flames feed off the Iron so the water of the Alantic ocean does not effect it.  Instead the Niter uses the salt in the water to create the chemical reation.  The Flames are fill with oxidizing(rusting) fluids, therefore anything metal will be disolved and rusted away.  Creating it imposible for warships to make it through.  Razvan, the x-FBI, will use this chemical reaction to form a flame wall streching across the Atlantic vertically, killing sea trade between the U.S. and Europe.  This will give Razvan's country of Cuba the perfect chance to grow in economics.  By the time the U.S. put out the problem, Razvans plan, he figured, would already be done.  Unfortunatly he didn't plan on four men...

Halite, A.S.A.P. Films biggest turn around.  The editing advancements are off the chart.  Looking back now, the effects are not very real looking, but the huge step it took to get them working turned everything in the right direction.  This film taugh me how to use Adobe inside and out.  I can now do many effects and have everything work perfectly.  Halite was A.S.A.P. Films first and biggest occomplishment!

The movie requiered a lot of new work...  To do this Adobe Premiere 6.5 was used...  The specs of it are that you can add in violent explotions and muzzel flashes...  The flash may not be found in real life guns unless at night but...to make the movie a lot cooler and more "realistic" they were put in, day or night....  The effect is great though it takes a lot of work and long nights adding in shot by shot.  Also there are bullet rebound flashes that are amazingly great.  The movie is good itself but with the effects it is an outstanding video that has a lot of time and effort put into it.

As said in the Editing Advancements.  Halite truely did take massive steps in effects for ASAP.  Muzzel flashes were in almost everyscene, there were explosions, bullets, etc...  Sound effects were everywhere.  Visit the Special Effects to download all of these great extras and effects!

As for the soundtrack, the movie is made up of impressive effects and also great sound!!!  The sound throughout the movie is a combination of soundtrack such as Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, The Last Samurai ect...  Gun and explotion sounds were downloaded. Sound in the movie is very nice, the songs move one scene smothly into the other making it very easy to watch and enjoy!!!
