Effects/Soundtracks-
Finally the small projects create an effect. This project won the effect aword because of how I made it look like he got hit by a truck... Theres more on how, in the editing advancements... As for the soundtrack, I used two songs... One from Matrix Reloaded and the other by Linken Park... They fit good but weren't highlights or anything... |

Editing Advancements-
After Halite I had mastered the motion command in Adobe and that's what helped me do the truck trick... Yet I have to give credit to one of my group memberes, Dave Unterborn, who thought of the only angle I didn't and it's the one I used...the one that made it look good... He had the idea to have the truck start where it would end in the video and then back up... When you put it in the video, you play it backwards so it looks like it whams at the camera...the tires even squealed. I used the motion command to bring the whole frame to the camera, that was the trick and it worked, it really looked like it hit the camera... |
Background-
My first A/V project. It was my time to prove that I had what it takes against a class of seniors and juniors...me being a softmore at the time, it was necessary for respect...and this project prove a million times over that I was a very very worthy compition... This project won me 3 awords... "Best Effect", "Best Audio", and "Best Film"... The project was a twist, it starts out as if a before and after of a helmet safety commercial... Once he is safe with his helmet he gets hit by a truck...and the twist is that he was on drugs so bad that he didn't even realize there was a truck coming at him... It was an excelent project, but the restriction of two minutes stop this project from becoming a main site... |
