So, somehow you arrived at this site called www.asapfilms.com. So what is it and why would someone make a site about it?
You may be wondering the question above if you are a new visitor to this site, or just a common visitor with amnesia. Well the story can be sumed up in two words, A.S.A.P. Films.
But what is A.S.A.P. Films???
A.S.A.P. Films as you may be have already guessed, has some thing to do with films, or movies. Well, yes, you're mostly right... A.S.A.P. Films is a group of friends that make amateur films. Now does that mean that we make raw sex videos!? No, amateur, though found on other raunchy sites, actually means, "A person who takes part in a sport or other activity without being paid." or "Non-Professional." We make films for fun, school, or for future careers. Our videos range from 2 mins to 2 hours, from cheesy to astonishing, from action to comedy. But that is only 3/4 of A.S.A.P. Films... Whats the other 25%? That would be friendship, fun, enjoyment, and the great feeling that comes with making an amazing film. Not only are producing films a lot of fun, but its a good way to stay out of drugs, alcohal, and other things not that great for the mind and body, plus you get to do it while hanging out with, and making, friends.
But why make a web site about it??? That I can't really answer in a few direct sentences. Why does anyone make a websites? To inform, educate, entertain, sell something, no life... There are many reasons to make a website. Personally I think that www.asapfilms.com was made so that me and my friends, the A.S.A.P. Cast and Crew, could have something to look at and remember the fun times that happened, to be proud of the video accomplishments we have all done, and plus, it is kinda cool to have yourself be on an organized website... But what is happening in the longer run, is this site is becoming a sponsorship for A.S.A.P. Films. Which is great!!!
What's up with www.Savery.Freeservers.com? Saverys Game was the original site for A.S.A.P. Films. It had to be replaced for many reasons, but mostly because it could not host videos. Being a film group, that made it difficult.
When was www.ASAPFILMS.com Started? It was purchased in 2004, in June but was not made until August 2004.
When was Saverys Game Started? It was back in 2003, towards the end of the school year. So I would have to say in May or June of 2003.
Where can I learn about A.S.A.P. Films? The real source of data is on the Updates page, where the four menu links our in the middle. Those links have tons of info on A.S.A.P. Films. Learn about the Films, Actors, Plans, and Download our media.
Where do I start? Well this page is probably the best page to start on, but you are already here, so thats good. Next, would probably be either Actors or Movies. If you have time, familiarize and get to know the A.S.A.P. Cast and Crew. Then check out the movie page.
Actors? The Actors page is about actors, naturally. On this page, there will only be the main
actors, the ones that really make up A.S.A.P. Films. There will be a photo link of the actor. When
you click the link, you go to that actors page. On that page there will be all the roles and movies that
actor has played and their thoughts on A.S.A.P. Films. On the bottom of the page, there is a
link labeled "View Other Actors/Extras". Simply click on that and it will take you to a page all about
the extras of A.S.A.P. Films.
Movies? The Movies page is by far, this sites pride and joy. It holds links to all the projects
A.S.A.P. Films has ever done. On it you will find photo links (click the photo to get to that movie).
Downloads? For those that are here for one reason, to view or get media without all the info, this
page is right for you. Just a quick click and your going.
Ok, but what are all these other Menu links? For the people that are here for their own movies, there are a few pages to help you. The Special FX page, will help those people that want to add video effects to their films. Software hints and media footage. For those that need help with audio, the Audio Aid page has songs for the web and downloads.
Paintball? As for the Paintball page. The link directs you to the A.S.A.P. Official Paintball site. That site is all paintball games, players, guns, etc...
What does Paintball have to do with movies? Well, besides the fact that we film our matches, nothing... But it is a major part of the A.S.A.P. Crew since all are involved in paintball. That is mostly why it is seperate from the main site, this one.
What was this page for?
I have had many people go to this site and either not know what they're looking at or just become to confused to find it. So my hopes were that this page would clear some of those confussions up.
