Effects/Soundtracks-
The movie is based on a car crash, so to that, there had to be two cars, but we only had one...  So to make it look like a crash happened, I had to draw blue screen (using paint) over a still from inside the car...then from a different time I had the same car, drive the opposite way down the road, swerving, as if slipping, then ver infront of me so it looked like the car went side ways into the blue screen still of inside the car...  It worked, but could have been better if I laid multiple layers over the swerving cars video file...(never mind)   As for the soundtrack, there was only one song (besides the short credits song), that had to be repeated...  It was from Lord of the Rings, and has a vocal part in it.  Thats when the car crashed, as the vocal stops.

Editing Advancements-
Besides working on what I hope to be the next big step for A.S.A.P. Films...blue screen...  There really was no advancements...  Only that it is the first project to be submitted to a compition...but not to many editing improvments...

Background-
It was supposed to be a Public Service annoucement for seatbelt safety...  A young high-school graduate, accepted at Cornell is going to his first day of college...but with no seatbelt they crash and the smart boy dies...
This was James project that was somewhat rushed, and then forgotten, then rushed again...  It was not a project I looked forward to editing, filming, doing...anything, actually it was kindof annoying.  Got in the way and stayed on the back of my mined as something I had to do but didn't want to...  Now with that in mind, consider the fact that when it was done, it was submitted to a national compition for a public service announcement.  The teacher thought it was that good.  He really liked the angles.  Personally I think that if I had actually wanted to do it, like with In Choler Verona and Halite, it would have been excelent but just no inspiration came with this assignment...
